Hello! How are you? So what do you do?
The clock has begun. I've just met and formed in those first few seconds have an opinion for your success, your income, your education, etc.
Studies show that the average American attention span of nine seconds (about the same as a goldfish has), and in fact doesnÂ't no matter what you do or who you are. ITA is not that terrible weÂ're people We donÂ't have the time. WeÂ're too busy to think about what we must do: our jobs, the bills are piling up on the kitchen table, our parents 'health, Whata's for dinner, whoa's, the children gather after school, the coming holidays, etc. But since weÂ're polite, we ask and we try to listen.
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, it is our attention to get, so we focus on you and your business. You have maximum 20 to 30 seconds. Can you do it?
A 20-30 second oral communication will also as  "lift speechÂ. Studies show that you use your elevator speech 22 times more than your printed business card. But how much time, effort and energy They have in the preparation of your printed business card as opposed to your oral?
People prefer to do business with people  – not nameless, faceless entities. If you have a chance to face to face with your target audience, you want to have a verbal message that grabs their attention and doesnÂ't let go. You want them questions about you and your company, because they HAVE to know more.
Take the following:
1.  "Hello, IÂ'm a business coach and I help get small businesses bigger. "
2.  "Hello, I teach business owners the seven Secrets to attract wealth and exploding their sales, so they do spend more time, what they love. "
What grabs your attention more?
The first is very matter-of-fact, more education. The second, on the other hand, evidence of just over Â-a secret, actually seven secrets. Are one of the things we love most:
1. Figures
2. Secrets
We are a numbers-oriented society. Everything is how much or how many. Â "How old are you?" Â "Â" What do they want to weigh? Â "Â" What is your salary? Â "Â "The Top Tena" of this or that list. Take a look at magazine covers next time youÂ're from shopping and youÂ'll aware of how much we love and the numbers of numbered lists.
And then there are the secrets. From childhood, weÂ've all heard the mocking  "I have a secret, I have a secret, and you donÂ't know it.Â" ITA rooted. We want to know not only the secret. . . we must.
The first half of the message addresses a basic need Â-wealth. Now take a look at the second half of the message, "so that they can spend more time doing what they love. "
The second half addresses  "timea" Â-they all want more time to do what they want, not what they do. The first message said to help, a "Small businesses will Biggera" A thata great if they want to be greater when they are ready to be larger. If a business owner is in a "overwhelmÂ" because most of them are, unfortunately, is the last thing he / she want to have to "get Biggera" and you will be lost.
Always remember that the people everything that a glance through  "WIIFMÂ" Filter A-Whata's In It For Me? In craft your elevator speech facility, you want to hear, understand and feel, what you can do for them. Address their basic needs forefront, and they will Anxiously awaiting the follow-up. Your task now ITA, so that they are interested. Go get Â'em!
