It is often said that the best products from someone about their decision to help themselves.
Our colleague, Albert, who is an avid golfer, had provoked a very different devices to support golfers on the golf course. The affordable devices become more disadvantageous for him, she would never quite work the way he thought they should.
In Tygus we love Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch – we think they make fantastic computer platforms, and we use it for a variety of things.
Albert decided he had to create a sound golf scorecard application for the iPhone / iPod, one that which "would just work," and naturally flow to his way of thinking and doing.
We thought it would be an interesting experience for to take away an iPhone through the App Store application process, to Albert gave the green light with only a single statement that he was not allowed to look at each of the other guests Golf and golf Tracker iPhone applications out there.
The main reason was to maintain the purity of seeing Albert. We wanted to avoid subconscious Albert is influenced by the mechanics of screen shots and other software. This could put pictures in my head, can pollute "their personal presentation of what it needs to be as a golfer.
Now, this does not mean its not important to understand what is out there. We thought it reasonable that Albert himself to concentrate on his own vision, while the other team members kept track of the competitive environment.
We called the resulting approximately Sensi Gulf because we think it is the easiest, most sensible golf utility out there for the iPhone / iPod Touch.
We believe that our strategy worked with Albert: During many of the other applications are complicated and confusing interfaces look, turned to golf Sensi be used as the closest to the traditional golf scorecard for the golfers. Do you want some golfers can keep their own score and have Sensi Golf automatically assemble the kits in a score?

Of course it makes no application in the App Store from Apple without Implementation of a strenuous review process on them. Many App Store, developers have a lot to say about this process, and tend to feel that its very painful. On Tygus We believe that Apple has proven they know what a thing or two about the users, so for us the App Store process is an opportunity to benefit from and be subjected to of this know-how.
Sensi Golf was accepted directly into the App Store review process after two weeks. We are now looking forward to feedback from golfers around the world, so that We can make the ultimate Sensi Golf Golfer's buddy.
