Questions about survivalist weapons?
So, I will create all those masters of survival stuff. I currently have 2 12 gauge shotguns, and one 30 06 bolt action rifle. I also have a 22 rifle and pistol. At the moment I am looking for a good pistol and rifle for defensive purposes. The pistol is a Beretta 92FS. If this is a good pistol? I know 9mm has its issues, but the weapon seems to fit. As for a rifle I am looking for either a ar15 223 with 16 "barrel or one remington 7600 30 06 rifle with 10 rd mags. Which of these would be better?

One is a defensive weapon, the other is a hunting weapon. IMO, the 9mm is a very poor man stopper, compared to the .45 ACP The Beretta 92 9mm would be a much better choice than an S & W, 38 spl I can say is that it is not IMO, the best defensive weapons. A good survival-battery for one person will not be the same for all. There are many factors that must be considered. You should also have enough food, water and necessities side takes at least 6 months. You will be pretty stupid if you go in search of TP and have shot himself
