An Italian film begins as pleasant and unobtrusive, like the story of a nine-year marriage and an old Man through the streets with no memory and a bag full of money.
Young couple Giovanna (Giovanna Mezzogiorno) and Filippo (Filippo Nigro) have been married a long time enough to become almost completely irrelevant to each other with most of their personal goals were while canceling some time ago. As their marriage begins to fall apart, the two encounter a strange old man (Massimo Girotti) who calls himself Simone since he apparently I can not remember his real name his past. Filippo brings the man home, to stay with them, which initially irritates Giovanna. Over time, she understands, and gradually the confused old man and the notification of a tattoo on his arm, indicating for him being a World War II Holocaust survivors. Under Simone to help an old Roman ghetto, she tells him to remember his name (Davide) and his time spent in that very ghetto, which is recalling the painful memories of his lover Simone's capture and murder at the hands of the Nazis. Meanwhile, Giovanna spent hiding their free time and look at the other side of the street on her attractive neighbor Lorenzo (Raoul Bova), which in turn has been spying on her. Giovanna is thus forced to to decide between Filippo and Lorenzo, and possibly implementing a professional dream that her new friend Davide may be, undertake to help her in the position.
We are more amiable figures drawn up by half way, the film explodes with moments of true beauty, passion and tenderness. The camera carefully weaves flashbacks and views from the minds of the protagonists, their memories flow together around for a few moments with the real life around them. The music is something that Be sure to keep totals for once as it shows the innocence and fragility of the figures.
Giovanna Mezzogiorno than the woman who is in a constant His struggle with her imprisoned husband seems excellent. But Facing Windows proving far more than a complex love triangle story. The echoes of the Nazi Holocaust and the inner strength, his true feelings, beliefs and dreams, "It is not enough to achieve a better life dream, you have to demand it." For those the search for something are much more than their movie popcorn and nachos, Facing Window fits the bill with effortless grace.
